About Me

Hello, I'm Cassi!

I am a singer, actress, and educator originally from Corpus Christi, TX. Music has always been my passion. I grew up knowing I wanted to be a singer, but what I didn't know when I was little was how much I'd love teaching as an adult. I'm an encourager and I take my job as a music teacher seriously. I love watching my students grow in both talent and self-confidence over the course of our lessons together.

I got my Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2010.  Immediately following graduation I was accepted into the Graduate Music Theatre program at New York University. I received my Master's of Music in Vocal Performance - Music Theatre, and Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from NYU in 2012. While in NYC I worked as Adjunct Faculty at NYU teaching private voice lessons. I also had the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects from commercials, to readings of new Musicals and Operas, to film and TV work. Currently, I work as a member of the Music Faculty at my alumni school, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, teaching Voice Lessons and Music History courses.
